One Day Tour to St. Catherine & Mount. Sinai from and to Eilat

Location: Eilat, Israel.


The Monastery, built some 1400 years ago at the foot of Mount Sinai at the site of the burning bush, has attracted for centuries pilgrims and scholars that come to visit the magnificent sites.

Meet and assist at your hotel in Eilat.  Transfer to the Taba Border for crossing to Egypt.  Meet and assist on Egyptian side and transfer to St. Catherine Monastery located in the Sinai High Mountain Region. Visit the Greek Orthodox Church and see the site of the Burning Bush and Well of Jethro's Daughters. At the Monastery's Garden enter the Skulk Room and roam around the Olive Grove. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant in the nearby Bedouin Village. In the afternoon return to Taba with optional stop at Nuwieba Oasis (time permitting) for a short swim. Return to Taba Border.  Meet and assist on Israeli side of the border and transfer Eilat Hotels.

Clients should bring with them:
• Comfortable walking shoes
• Warm clothes during winter month.
• Modest clothing for visiting holy sites.
• Passport must be valid a minimum 6 months valid
• Swimming suite & towel
